For sale we have a rare and exciting vintage 'Cassiope' multi faceted aluminium chandelier from the French designer Max Sauze designed circa 1969.

Its an incredible piece of optic art/sculpture and its form is stunning to look at. The construction is amazing, its composed of a steel cruciform box frame, and each box has a sheet of aluminium curved at a different angle.

The 'Cassiope' light appears in museum collections worldwide and attains high prices when offered for sale in the major auction houses.

This particular example is one of the larger sized versions measuring an impressive 64 cm by 64 cm and is in very good condition (couple of ripples to 2 sheets, general wear) no missing sheets or breakages. Original hanging cage included.
